Upstate Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Care in Greenville, SC is hiring full-time Client Service Representatives to join our outstanding team! Compensation: $20 - $22/hr, based on experience. Additional overnight or weekend shift differentials offered! Available schedules: Monday, Tuesday 7:30am - 5:30pm & Friday, Saturday 12:00pm - 10:00pm, Wednesday, Thursday 7:30am - 5:30pm & Saturday, Sunday 8:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Thursday 11:00pm - 9:00am. About You

You are a warm, professional, detail-oriented individual who truly enjoys helping people. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly, and remain calm and compassionate—especially during emergency situations. You are eager to work on a collaborative team and contribute to a positive, respectful hospital culture.

Position Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting clients, check-in/check-out, and scheduling
  • Oversee lobby flow to ensure a smooth and positive client experience
  • Answer and manage a multi-line phone system; accurately triage and transfer calls
  • Expedite emergency calls by quickly relaying information to triage staff
  • Guide clients through euthanasia paperwork with compassion and professionalism
  • Discuss payment options and assist with client financial conversations
  • Perform administrative tasks such as printing schedules, managing charts, filing, record distribution, and mail processing
  • Provide general hospital information and assist clients with directions to network locations
  • Maintain knowledge of network hospital protocols and communication pathways
  • Support doctors, technicians, and fellow CSRs with daily workflow and hospital operations

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, minimum 1 year of customer service experience required (medical or veterinary preferred)
  • Strong computer skills with ability to learn new software, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail, with strong communication skills with both clients and team members
  • Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
