Robert Half is hiring! We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst II to join our team in the Upstate of South Carolina. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by providing technical support and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and user accounts. This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies and contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization's IT systems.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver prompt and effective desktop support for users, including assistance with Windows 10/11, printers, and applications.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Manage Microsoft 365 accounts, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and Entra ID.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks, such as password resets and permissions management.
• Escalate unresolved or complex issues to higher-level IT staff or engineers.
• Document resolutions and maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams.
• Apply critical thinking to address unfamiliar or challenging problems.
• Utilize ticketing systems to manage and prioritize support requests efficiently.
• Provide remote desktop support to ensure user accessibility and functionality.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and basic troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including user management and permissions.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Knowledge of service desk ticketing systems and remote desktop tools.
• Understanding of basic networking and connectivity concepts.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a similar help desk or IT support role is preferred.
