Account Manager

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team in Portugal, responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of clients in the Central Region of Portugal. The role involves regular travel mainly in the Central region, namely between Coimbra, Leiria, Aveiro, Viseu, Santarém, among other locations.

Main Functions to Perform

Client Management

  • Develop trust relationships with clients through regular visits and personalized follow-up.
  • Propose solutions adapted to the specific needs of each client.
  • Negotiate attractive commercial proposals, respecting internal policies (prices, deadlines, and quantities, in accordance with internal procedures).

Commercial Development

  • Identify and prospect new opportunities in your sector.
  • Promote the diversity of our range and maximize additional sales (including increasing the depth of the range).
  • Achieve the defined objectives, simultaneously ensuring customer satisfaction, sector profitability, and a balanced management of prices and margins.

Technical Support and Operational Follow-up

  • Perform first-level technical interventions, including diagnosis of anomalies, resolution of minor faults, and replacement/installation of basic non-electrical equipment.
  • Ensure rigorous registration of activities, opportunities, and sales forecasts in the CRM (Salesforce), contributing to effective management of the sales funnel.
  • Conduct audits in establishments in the food retail and catering area.
  • Prepare and provide support materials, present new product developments, and demonstrate solutions and equipment from the TASKI range, adapted to the needs of clients.

Compliance and Respect for Internal Norms

  • Apply pricing and safety policies.
  • Comply with internal procedures, including road safety rules and responsible use of the mobile phone.

What We Are Looking For?

  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomic Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Veterinary Sciences, Food Technology, or related fields.
  • Practical experience in technical sales, preferably in the food and beverage sector.
  • Valid driver's license (mandatory) and availability for frequent travel.
  • Dynamic, proactive, and results-oriented personality.
  • Organized, autonomous profile, attentive to detail, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, team spirit, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of SAP (Salesforce is an advantage) and MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Intermediate level of English (reading, writing, and communication). Fluent English is not mandatory but valued.
  • Preferred residence between Santarém and Viseu.
