Shingle & Gibb Account Manager is responsible for interacting with a defined group of Customers, generally in the same geographic area, in order to generate sales of the Company's products within that account base by solving those customers' industrial automation applications. This can be done by defending our position and introducing new products/Suppliers with existing customers as well as prospecting for new accounts. The Account Manager will exude a passion for the customer by exceeding their expectations and building strong partnerships with current and prospective clients. As a member of the Outside Sales Department, work is performed both in an office environment and in the field. As a part of the Outside Sales Team, the Account Manager is required to schedule appointments to qualify new accounts and opportunities or to further a relationship or opportunity with an existing customer. Driving is required and the Outside Sales Team may be exposed to inclement weather conditions.

The Account Manager position requires one day per week in an office environment and the other four days per week in the field traveling to customer sites. Most of the travel will be in the Philadelphia, PA local region daily, however, overnight travel should be expected. Occasional supplier training at their facilities may require overnight travel outside of the region. Expect 25 nights per year minimum of travel.

Compensation Details:
The expected rate of pay for this position is $75,000 annually, depending on experience. This position is also commission eligible, based on specific and relevant business metrics.
