We are looking for a project coordinator with a chemical or technical background to join the department responsible for the development of new and the improvement of existing color and paint systems for the timber industry in Northern Europe. You will report to the research and development director and work in close collaboration with colleagues in other departments in Europe. Travel may be part of the job. Your duties will consist of troubleshooting/cause analysis, project presentations, and most importantly, decision support with responsible managers and project leaders.
Your work will mainly be project-based and span various surface treatment technologies. Your days will be divided between the office and the lab, where your work will alternate between practical and administrative tasks. You will be a key competence in existing data systems, and are expected to extract data and update systems. Your chemical and technical background will be used to ensure that technical data supports project goals. Some of your most common tasks will be, for example:
