Project Coordinator

ConnectSydney are on the hunt for a new Project Coordinator to join their team at our Rockdale office!

About the Role

ConnectSydney, a joint venture of ServiceStream, Boral, and Johnson Controls, in partnership with Transport for NSW (TfNSW), is entrusted with the management of the Harbour Zone. Our responsibilities encompass routine maintenance, strategic enhancements, and specialised projects aimed at bolstering Sydney's transport infrastructure.

We are on the hunt for a well-organised and headstrong individual to work with the Senior Leadership team and support with project tracking over the business. The newly established Project Coordinator role will play a vital role in establishing and embedding core business fundamentals across the ConnectSydney business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the project tracker for all current initiatives
  • Attend Senior Leadership Team weekly meetings to present updates of current projects
  • Provide support for the organization of bi-monthly town halls and other events
  • Support the Contract Manager as required
  • Support the Training Manager with tasks as required
  • Onboarding (Manage the system & support the commercial/delivery teams)

About You:

  • 3+ years' experience in an operational or administration environment
  • Experience in managing activities of a higher complexity, including delivery of proposed solutions.
  • Experience in construction or infrastructure maintenance & administration
  • Ability to support multiple work fronts and colleagues.
  • Demonstrates leadership traits and self-driven initiative.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with colleagues
  • Capability to negotiate and influence outcomes.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and be pro-active in following up.
  • Ability to identify, diagnose and provide solutions to problems.
  • Eagerness to continuously improve self, and enterprise.
  • Enjoys working and collaborating in a team environment, but can also work on their own (noting flexibility in location)
