Account Executive
Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven Account Executive to join our sales team. This role focuses on hunting and securing new business opportunities within the Value Added Reseller (VAR) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and closing sales, building long-term relationships, and driving revenue growth in a fast-paced, competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Proactively identify, engage, and establish relationships with VARs to promote and sell our client's product offerings (computer hardware)
- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to penetrate new accounts and expand the VAR network.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-ups.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong, mutually beneficial relationships with VAR partners, serving as their primary point of contact for all sales-related inquiries.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead the negotiation process, crafting tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of VAR partners and their clients.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and support teams to ensure seamless onboarding, training, and support for VARs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the VAR or technology sector.
- Skills: Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing abilities with a proven ability to exceed sales targets.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the VAR ecosystem and an understanding of value-added services is highly desirable. Experience or understanding of networking products/security products/cloud networking solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of accountability.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
