The Position

At the Basel Drug Substance Manufacturing Site of F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG, you will get a unique insight into the production of chemical and biological active pharmaceutical ingredients for commercial and clinical supply. Our site consists of four production units (so-called value streams) and five supporting units (so-called units), in which a total of 650 employees focus on supplying patients with medicines.

As a Manufacturing Technical Specialist at the Basel production site, you will support the team in various aspects.

The Opportunity:

• Support pharmaceutical production at the Basel site within an engaged team.

• Responsibility for maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of MAB production facilities.

• Participation in the planning and organization of technical activities in the GMP environment.

• Support of external service providers and coordination of technical deployments on site and active participation in technical problem-solving and root cause analysis.

• Support of the qualification phases (IQ, OQ, PQ) together with engineering.

• Implementation of measures to improve quality, safety, and efficiency, as well as ensuring GMP-compliant documentation and process execution.

• Shared responsibility for a clean, safe, and organized working environment and fostering a positive and team-oriented work climate.

Who You Are:

• You have a completed vocational training as a chemist and pharmaceutical technologist EFZ or a university degree – ideally with experience in pharmaceutical production.

• You are familiar with GMP guidelines, quality assurance, and technical maintenance.

• You work independently, responsibly, and value teamwork.

• You have technical understanding, interest in processes, and feel comfortable in a digital environment.

• You communicate confidently in German – English skills are advantageous.
