Commercial Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Account Manager to join our Real Estate team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day servicing of a designated book of business, with a strong emphasis on policy management, client communication, and internal coordination. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of real estate insurance programs, including property, general liability, umbrella/excess, and ancillary coverages.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage a book of commercial real estate accounts with varying levels of complexity
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, ensuring high service standards and responsiveness
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of policy renewals, including data collection, applications, and marketing to carriers
  • Review and compare insurance quotes and proposals, making coverage recommendations aligned with client needs
  • Issue certificates of insurance, process endorsements, and track premium payments
  • Work closely with producers, underwriters, and other internal teams to deliver timely and accurate information
  • Maintain up-to-date client records in the agency management system (EPIC)
  • Stay informed on industry trends and changes impacting the real estate and insurance sectors
  • Assist in onboarding new clients and ensuring smooth transitions
  • Proactively identify coverage gaps, risk exposures, and opportunities to enhance programs

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 3+ years of commercial P&C insurance experience, preferably in an agency or brokerage setting
  • Knowledge of real estate-related exposures and coverages
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license
  • Proficiency in agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Team-oriented with a client-first attitude
  • Experience handling large schedules of properties and layered/excess liability programs
