Patient Support Technician - BC - Virtual ICU - Nights

Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. This is a dual position that includes the job responsibilities of a Patient Care Technician, a Cardiac Monitor Technician, a Visual Monitor, a Mental Health/Patient Care Technician, or a Unit Secretary.

Minimum qualifications include:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - Relevant Specialty; Reference summary for details; Active CPR certification upon hire.
• One of the following: 6 months acute care experience; or 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience; or successfully completes a BayCare sponsored Nursing Assistant or PCT Internship; or completion of Nursing Fundamentals (RN); or Nursing Foundation (LPN) Programs; or EMT certification / Paramedic license for ER only; or completed a PCT or Nursing Assistant program which includes a clinical component.

Preferred experience: 1 year - Hospital in related field.

Required education: High School or Equivalent.
