Job Description
Location: Bentonville, AR (On-site, Monday–Friday)
About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support Spark Shop. Spark Shop, located in the Welcome Center on Walmart's home office campus, offers a curated assortment of Walmart-branded merchandise across apparel, accessories, office, and more. This role blends client-facing project coordination with hands-on store operations.
Spark Shop is known as a "happy place" on campus—a destination for discovery, connection, and a quick reset. We're looking for someone to help reinforce that experience with a "customer, always" mindset.
You'll work closely with stakeholders to keep projects on track while also supporting merchandising, inventory, and the in-store customer experience. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants exposure to retail, marketing, and operations in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for client partners and internal teams
- Coordinate project timelines, tasks, and deliverables across multiple initiatives
- Support in-store operations including merchandising, inventory, and collection launches
- Maintain the sales floor and backstock (receiving shipments, stocking, organizing, lifting to 25 lbs.)
- Manage bi-weekly inventory replenishment from the local warehouse
- Manage item setup and inventory strategy across launches
- Operate POS systems, assist with checkout, returns, and basic troubleshooting
- Contribute to feedback on product design, assortment, events, and marketing plans
- Track and report on sales performance, inventory, and operational metrics
- Deliver a strong in-store customer experience, including assisting with purchases and inquiries
- Partner cross-functionally to execute marketing and retail programs
- Identify process improvements and help solve day-to-day operational challenges
- Build strong working relationships and ensure a high level of service and execution
What You Bring
- 1–3 years of experience in retail, marketing, operations, or project coordination
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable in a client-facing environment with strong communication skills
- Willingness to be hands-on in a retail setting (stocking, merchandising, etc.)
- Interest in retail, merchandising, or marketing operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Why This Role
This role offers hands-on experience at the intersection of retail operations, marketing, and client services—supporting a highly visible, on-campus store environment. You'll gain exposure to cross-functional teams while developing both project management and operational skills.
