IT Service Desk Technician

Some of your duties may include:

• Installing, administering, supporting, and troubleshooting Windows 10, Windows Server, and Active Directory
• Level II and III Desktop support and helpdesk in a Windows environment
• Understanding and experience of WAN connectivity and IP Networking, routers, and switches
• Supporting HP hardware
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical users, including senior management

Demonstrated skills in:

• 2+ years of very strong Windows 10 experience
• 2+ years' experience with brand name Laptops/Desktops preferred
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products experience required
• 1-year experience with Apple and Android products
• 1-year experience with DNS, WINS, and DHCP services
• 1-year experience with LAN, WAN, and data communication operations analysis
• 1-year experience with Remote Access Tools; VPN and Mobile
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to troubleshoot basic/intermediate hardware problems
• Highly motivated and efficient
• Extremely well organized
• Genuine aptitude and interest in computers and networking technology
• Able to work independently without supervision, manage own daily schedule and prioritize activities

Experience with Telephony services, including, VOIP, Fax, and Video conferencing

Ability to diagnose server and network system problems quickly and develop effective solutions

Ability to monitor server and network systems performance in an existing environment as well as new environment

Some college preferred

MCSE or MCSA or MCT preferred
