Schedule: Monday – Friday (Standard Day Shift)

The Opportunity
Are you a customer-focused professional with an eye for design and a drive for excellence? We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join an international leader in the specialty hardware industry at their Lincoln Heights location.

Key Responsibilities
- Order Management: Obtain, analyze, and verify the accuracy of orders in a timely manner, specifically focusing on our vast closet and storage solutions.
- Consultative Sales: Answer inbound calls to provide sales quotes and work closely with outside sales representatives to ensure seamless customer service.
- Showroom Support: Assist walk-in customers with technical questions, product research, and order placement in our professional showroom.
- Problem Solving: Research product solutions to help customers solve real-world field-project issues.
- Growth-Oriented: Proactively suggest new or complimentary products to customers via phone and face-to-face interactions.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar customer service or internal sales role.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of closet design, building materials, or cabinetry components is a major plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with AS400 is preferred but not mandatory.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, project management skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Physical Ability: Must be comfortable in a professional environment that may occasionally require lifting/pushing/carrying items up to 50 lbs.
