Customer Service Representative – Specialty Hardware & Design Solutions

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Lincoln Heights / Woodlawn Area)

Pay: $16.00

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Standard Day Shift)

The Opportunity

Are you a customer-focused professional with an eye for design and a drive for excellence? We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join an international leader in the specialty hardware industry at their Lincoln Heights location.

As a key member of our team, you will do more than just process orders—you will be a solutions provider for cabinetry, storage, and furniture manufacturers. If you thrive in a professional, fast-paced environment where innovation and integrity are the standard, we want to talk to you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Management: Obtain, analyze, and verify the accuracy of orders in a timely manner, specifically focusing on our vast closet and storage solutions.
  • Consultative Sales: Answer inbound calls to provide sales quotes and work closely with outside sales representatives to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Showroom Support: Assist walk-in customers with technical questions, product research, and order placement in our professional showroom.
  • Problem Solving: Research product solutions to help customers solve real-world field-project issues.
  • Growth-Oriented: Proactively suggest new or complimentary products to customers via phone and face-to-face interactions.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar customer service or internal sales role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of closet design, building materials, or cabinetry components is a major plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with AS400 is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, project management skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Physical Ability: Must be comfortable in a professional environment that may occasionally require lifting/pushing/carrying items up to 50 lbs.
