Customer Service Representative (Temporary, Full-Time)

PrideStaff is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative on behalf of a leading manufacturing client in the Hackettstown, NJ area. This role focuses on supporting the EMI Filters department through high-level sales support and account management.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate who excels at technical data management and enjoys acting as the vital link between customers, sales managers, and production teams.

Position Details

  • Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
  • Duration: Temporary (May 1st to October 15th), with potential for extension or permanent conversion.
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday
  • Location: Hackettstown, NJ

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Support: Serve as the primary contact for customers, manufacturing representatives, and regional account managers.
  • Order Management: Process purchase orders from all channels (web, email, e-catalog) and ensure a smooth transfer to the Operations team for execution.
  • Backlog Monitoring: Track customer backlogs to ensure optimum performance and efficiency for every shipment.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain accurate Master Data, including billing/shipping info, Incoterms, and customer contact details.
  • Problem Resolution: Manage change orders, expedites, RMA transactions, credit/debit memos, and cancellation requests.
  • Quoting: Generate standard product quotes based on established marketing price lists.
  • Specialized Systems: Access customer portals for invoicing and notifications; may involve processing Military Service Returns using WAWF and Exostar systems.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Previous experience in a professional customer service, sales support, or account management role.
  • Software Proficiency: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
  • Technical Aptitude: Experience with ERP systems and CRM tools is a significant plus.
  • Communication: Ability to interpret complex information and determine the most effective mode of communication for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Professionalism: Comfortable participating in customer visits or audits when necessary.
