Compensation: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour (Starting pay depends on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Logistics Customer Service Representative. This is a mission-critical role where you will manage the heartbeat of our facility: the flow of inbound and outbound freight.
In this position, you aren't just sitting behind a desk—you are the "Air Traffic Controller" for our docks. You will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials reach our manufacturing plants on time; if you miss a beat, production stops. We need someone who is tech-savvy, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to grow within the logistics industry.
Traffic & Dock Management: Control the flow of yard traffic and strategically assign trucks to specific docks to maintain an efficient facility rhythm.
Documentation: Prepare, process, and audit Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other shipping documents with 100% accuracy.
Dispatching: Proactively call manufacturing plants to coordinate pickups and ensure product movement aligns with production schedules.
High-Stakes Communication: Act as the primary liaison between truck drivers, the warehouse floor team, and management.
Error Detection: Maintain extreme attention to detail to catch inventory or shipping errors immediately and communicate them to the necessary departments before they impact the supply chain.
Data Systems: Navigate multiple logistics software platforms simultaneously, performing high-speed data entry while monitoring real-time shipment updates.
The "Multitasker": You can handle a ringing phone, a driver at the window, and a complex data entry task all at once without losing your cool.
Computer Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn complex Logistics Management Systems (LMS) quickly.
Communication Skills: Professional and assertive communication style suitable for interacting with everyone from truck drivers to executive leadership.
Urgency & Ownership: An understanding that "time is money." You take it personally when a shipment is delayed because you know the manufacturer is waiting.
Growth Mindset: Must be willing to learn. We will train you on our specific logistics nuances if you bring the work ethic and the tech skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in logistics, dispatching, or high-volume customer service preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment.
Reliable transportation to our Tempe, AZ facility.
