The Sap Implementation Process Lead – Warehouse Management

The SAP Implementation Process Lead – Warehouse Management delivers all project-related outcomes within the EWM/TM (Extended Warehouse Management and Transportation Management) functional workstream for assigned processes. The key areas within the warehouse management process includes the logistics, inventory management and goods movements for Raw Materials, Finished Goods, and Packaging Materials in our Manufacturing Plants and Distribution Centers. Order picking, staging, physical inventory / cycle counting, receiving, shipping, tote management, warehouse tinting, returns for IM and EWM materials in PPG owned or 3PL locations is included with this role. You will coordination with production, planning, customer service, quality management, transportation management, procurement, finance departments, in addition to other functions of the project.

You will also be responsible for all S4H deployment-related activities within their process areas, including leading design workshops, conducting fit/gap analyses, driving solution design, coordinating testing and training, managing cutover planning and execution, and providing go-live and hyper care support. You will play a key part in implementing the Global Template for the assigned process areas, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budget.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end SAP implementation of warehouse management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Coordinate with other PPG teams (Business representatives, Global Connect PPG Process Excellence, SAP COE, Data team, FLIT, etc.) to meet process area specific project goals.
  • Manage risks, and changes within the process area to ensure project success.
  • Lead the warehouse management processes and act as a subject matter expert and business process expert to drive S4H implementation.
  • Lead solution design efforts with COE and act as their counterpart for assigned business processes.
  • Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, methodologies and Global Template.
  • Coordinate all activities with the business across data, testing, training, change management, and cutover for the assigned process areas, leveraging cross-stream resources to ensure seamless execution.
  • Lead data gathering, cleansing, and validation activities across functions to ensure accuracy and readiness for warehouse management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related field required.
  • 7+ years of experience in logistics or warehouse management required.
  • Previous ERP implementation experience preferred but not required.
  • PPG experience preferred but not required.
