Customer Service Specialist

Join PPG Global Business Services as a Customer Service Specialist and support our European operations in customer service and operational processes within an international environment. In this position you will report to Customer Service Team Leader.

This role is intended for an experienced Specialist who feels comfortable working with data, prices, and systems, but is not expected to act as a subject-matter expert or senior analyst. If you value accuracy, structured work, and collaboration, this position may be a very good fit.

Location: Wrocław (ul. Curie-Skłodowskiej 12)

Work model: Hybrid (work from home 2 days per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will process and maintain customer data, orders, pricing, and transactions
  • You will ensure data integrity, consistency across systems
  • You will handle customer service requests such as order updates, pricing queries, discrepancies, and follow-ups
  • You will analyze issues and discrepancies and resolve them based on defined procedures
  • You will prepare invoices, statements, and basic billing documentation
  • You will support daily operational activities and respond to internal stakeholder inquiries
  • You will cooperate with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT teams in day-to-day operations
  • You will maintain process documentation and follow established SOPs
  • You will support quality checks and corrective actions when required
  • You will participate in onboarding and training of new or junior team members
  • You will take part in internal trainings and knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • You will support process transitions and assist with documentation where needed
  • You will perform other standard customer service–related tasks assigned within the team

Qualifications:

We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist who:

  • Has experience in customer service, pricing, order management, or finance-related roles (e.g. AR/AP)
  • Is comfortable working with numbers, data, and transactional processes
  • Has experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Vision, AX or similar)
  • Uses Excel in daily work
  • Speaks English fluently
  • Is detail-oriented, responsible, and reliable
  • Works independently within a defined scope while being a strong team player

Nice to Have:

  • Good analytical skills
  • Experience with Power BI or Power Query
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. complex formulas, macros)
  • Knowledge of an additional language (German, Italian, Spanish)
