Sr.Advance Technician/Sr.Technical Service

Responsible for:

• Interact with customers to provide technical assistance (identification of customers technical needs, support in product application, provide solutions in case of problems)
• Product development from lab scale synthesis up to scaling-up (pilot plant and support to manufacturing team to assure success and proper quality in the production of new products)
• Conduct trials at customers place, execute evaluation of products as per guidelines
• Attending customer complaints, test & provide solution by walking through a series of actions to resolve it
• Training and demonstration to customers on our test methods, product performance
• To assist in preparation of Technical Documentation
• Performs experiments for the Application Laboratory, Sample preparation, Synthesis of resins lab & pilot
• Inspection of the process on pilot plant and quality of finished product, for new development
• Accountable for keeping the lab safe and organized with adequate maintenance of equipment

In addition:

Good Knowledge of Composite Materials, mainly thermoset: Polymer chemistry, Composite process technologies, material characterization and uses; Usage of relevant lab instruments, Computer operations i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint. SAP knowledge is a plus

Required Education and Experience: A B.Sc. degree in Chemistry is a must together with a work experience of 10 years in the role of a lab technician, technical service or a plant chemist in an organization from the Paint, FRP (fiber reinforced plastic) / Composite or a Resin industry.
