Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and customer-focused Implementation and Data Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth onboarding of new clients and the accurate migration and management of their data into our systems. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver successful implementations that align with client expectations and organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the onboarding and implementation of new clients, ensuring milestones are achieved according to project timelines
Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Support teams to gather requirements and understand customer goals
Configure software systems based on client needs, including workflows, permissions, and reporting
Provide hands-on support during implementation, including demonstrations, testing, and post-launch reviews
Clean, transform, and migrate client data from legacy systems into our platform with high accuracy
Perform data audits to ensure data integrity and resolve inconsistencies or anomalies
Create scripts, templates, or data-mapping guides to streamline future migrations
Partner with the engineering or technical teams for complex migrations or system integrations
Act as a subject matter expert during and after implementation to ensure clients are effectively using the platform
Conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators
Serve as the first point of contact for technical questions during the onboarding phase
Develop and maintain implementation guides, data templates, and process documentation
Identify opportunities to improve internal implementation processes or tools
Report and analyze implementation metrics and client satisfaction trends
Work directly with manufacturers, OEMs, and third-party vendors to enable and configure integrations, data feeds, or feature-specific setup (e.g., inventory sync, pricing updates, or warranty services)
This role requires up to 25% travel across North America, that will consist of visiting customers, tradeshows, conferences, and in person team meetings
Competencies
Data Cleaning & Transformation: Proficient in preparing, cleansing, and formatting data for accurate import
SQL or Scripting Knowledge: Ability to query databases or use scripts for data extraction and manipulation
Data Mapping: Understands how to translate and align data from legacy systems to new platforms
System Configuration: Can configure software platforms to align with unique client workflows
API Understanding (Basic): Familiarity with APIs for system integrations is advantageous
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software implementation, data management, or a related client-facing role
Knowledge of Accounting practices, or a related accounting field
F amiliarity with or previous experience using enterprise software with integrated accounting functionality is an asset
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data transformation tools
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with employees at various levels throughout the organization
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Highly analytical, comfortable with large data sets, and able to extract insights from analysis to help drive future decisions
Proficient with Microsoft Tools (i.e. Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.)
Be able to travel up to 25% freely across North America
