Structured 2 sales teams, one exchanges with the directors of French SMEs, the other with accounting firms. This second team is divided into three: Small (firm with less than 150 clients), Medium (between 150 and 3,500 clients) and Key Account (more than 3,500 clients).

Your mission

Given the growth of the business and the stakes for 2025, we are opening new Account Executive positions on the accounting firms side, to join the Medium team.

Your mission will be to understand the accounting and management challenges of SME directors and accounting firms, and what Pennylane can bring to these two populations. Once done, you will be responsible for a region of France, and your objective will be to convince the Medium accounting firms in your area!

How?

You will make appointments, both remotely and in person, during which you will talk to accounting firms to:

- Understand their firm, as well as the challenges they face to meet the needs of their teams and clients

- Present Pennylane and show how it would change their daily routine

- Close the sale with the firm, pushing them to keep the accounting on a significant part of their portfolio

Once the sale is closed, and the first accounts are kept by the accounting firm, support the firm over time:

- Retain and develop the number of accounts kept on Pennylane. Drive the growth in your portfolio of firms

- Coordinate support teams to ensure that the delivered service meets the expectations of the firms

- Develop a network of promoter firms, likely to sponsor other colleagues

Among other actions to be carried out:

- Interact with commercial teams on the "client" side, to ensure that the virtuous circle firm-client works smoothly

- Carry out targeted prospecting (emails, hot calls, participation in events…) on potential firms

- Analyze your performance, learn from other team members and share your techniques to increase the team's performance

Position based in La Réunion, involving many trips.

Your profile

You have at least 4 years of experience in commercial functions (ideally in the SaaS BtoB world, on long and complex deals with different stakeholders). And ideally already done Account Management.

You like commercial relationship and spend time with your prospects/clients, having lunches, going to trade shows, moving on the field. This field is key with accounting firms!

You are creative and never give up to achieve your goals in your area of action

You can work in a challenging environment that moves fast,

You have a thirst for learning and progressing in your sales job and you show a force of proposal in the face of the problems you encounter

Strong ability to collaborate on a daily basis with other teams, you remain conciliant

You have knowledge of the accounting-tech/fin-tech ecosystem

You have an English level allowing you to have professional exchanges within the company, and to make presentations.

Recruitment process

- First interview with a Business Recruiter (30 minutes)

- Second interview with Clémence, Team Lead - Medium Accounting Firms (1 hour)

- Third interview is a use case with Clémence and Jocelyn (1 hour)

- Last interview with one of the co-founders: Edouard (Head Of Sales) and Valentin (Head Of Sales - Accounting Firm), for 30-45 minutes of discussion

- Team fit (informal discussion)
