Digital Technology Rising Leaders Program Associate – Digital Technology (DT) Project Coordinator

The Digital Technology (DT) Rising Leaders Program is an exciting early career rotational program in a technology-related field. This two-year program aims to develop future leaders for our DT Organization through a fast-track system of three dynamic rotations, each lasting eight months. Participants in the program can gain hands-on experience in key areas such as Data Science & Analytics, Internet of Things (IoT) Programs, Business Applications & Mobility Program Delivery, Project Management, Enterprise & Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure, Global Workplace Services, Operations, Cybersecurity, and our innovative Otis Accelerator (OX).

As part of the DT PMO & Operations Team, you will support project execution and operational excellence, working closely with Project Managers (PMs) to ensure successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives. You'll gain foundational knowledge of PMO processes, governance, and tools, and act as a liaison between PMs and project teams.

This highly competitive program offers immersive learning experiences designed to cultivate innovative and collaborative leaders who excel in cross-functional collaboration and thrive in dynamic environments. Participants will engage in meaningful, real-world projects that address complex challenges, build strategic relationships, and gain exposure to critical areas of Otis's digital transformation journey. Reporting to the Program Manager, this role provides mentorship, leadership development opportunities, and a clear pathway to a successful career in Digital Technology. Please note that this is not a training program; while some training may be provided, it is fundamentally a leadership development program designed to stretch you to your full potential.

On a typical day you will:

  • Work across key Digital Technology functions, gaining exposure to core systems and processes.
  • Work on impactful, real-world projects that address critical business challenges and contribute to the digitalization of Otis operations globally. As a project coordinator, you will:
    • Maintain accurate project documentation across all phases
    • Schedule and facilitate project meetings, take minutes, and track follow-ups
    • Serve as a communication bridge between PMs and project teams
    • Track project timelines, gate reviews, and deliverables
    • Assist with budgeting and monitoring project financials
    • Update project metrics in Planview (PPM) and support PMO governance activities
    • Help organize PMO workshops and onboarding sessions for new team members
  • Collaborate with rotation managers and mentors to deepen knowledge, develop innovative solutions, and build cross-functional leadership capabilities.
  • Engage with the DT Engagement Teams and DT Energy Board to support strategic initiatives and broaden your network.
  • Provide updates on your progress and impact through system-based tracking tools, ensuring transparency and alignment with program goals.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of organizational strategies that leverage technology for long-term success.

What You Will Need to be Successful:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Project Management or a technology related field (must be completed by the summer 2026 start date)
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong communication, problem-solving, situational analysis, and strategic thinking abilities.
    • Adaptability, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence to excel in diverse team environments.
    • Collaboration skills to work effectively across global teams and functions.
    • Technical aptitude in areas like data analysis, cybersecurity, business systems, and emerging digital technologies.
    • Leadership potential demonstrated through previous internships, projects, or extracurricular activities.
    • Able to be a self-starter and act with pace and imagination.
    • Coachability and desire for continuous improvement.
  • Preferred Experience: Exposure to emerging digital technologies and systems or internship experience in IT or related fields.
  • Willingness to travel globally for deployments during rotational assignments: (up to one week per program).
