Required: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in a related field; or equivalent combination of education & experience

Computer skills, highly skilled & practiced in MS Office Suite

Summary: This position is responsible for providing data driven insight to guide organizational decision making & strategic improvement by working closely with leaders & stakeholders to understand needs, objectives, & priorities. This position will work across functional areas to transform data into actionable insights that improve member experience, health outcomes, reduce disparities, & improve system performance. This role is also responsible for analyzing information, identifying trends, creating reports & dashboards, & developing recommendations to improve business processes & performance. This position requires strong analytical, technical, & communication skills, as well as the skill to translate complex data into actionable strategies.

Essential Duties:

1. Gathers & analyzes large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, & areas for improvement.
2. Generates recommendations & actionable, data driven insights to support strategic planning & decision making across all areas of the organization.
3. Creates clear, concise, & accurate dashboards, reports, & presentations to communicate findings & recommendations to leaders & senior management.
4. Identifies opportunities to optimize business processes & improve efficiency & effectiveness ensuring alignment with organizational goals & priorities.

Duties Include:

• Work collaboratively with different departments & leaders to understand data driven decision needs
• Utilizes various software & tools, including spreadsheets, datasets, data visualization tools, & statistical software, for analysis & reporting
• Develops & maintain dashboards & reporting tools
• Identifies & recommends improvements to existing processes, sometimes through the development of new procedures or the implementation of new technologies
• Assists in designing training programs for processes, program, & performance to enhance employee skills & knowledge, & improve overall performance
• Assists in the implementation of data driven decision making processes & training programs
• Utilizes industry best practices, techniques, & standards & decision support & performance improvement
• Monitors & evaluates the effectiveness & implemented strategies & process changes, making adjustments
• Makes recommendations for innovation, performance improvement, increased efficiencies, & enhanced user, member, & provider experience
• Demonstrates extensive & diverse knowledge of health care data, metrics, systems, & standards
• Utilizes strong organizational skills & attention to detail in perform all job duties & requirements
• Maintain confidentiality & complies with HIPAA rules & regulations
