Account Executive - Private Client

Towne Insurance is hiring a Private Client Account Executive to join our team. This role is dedicated to supporting Private Client Risk Advisors by delivering exceptional service to both new and existing Private Client Members. The position involves overseeing all aspects of service and support for the Private Client Group book of business, ensuring seamless operations and top-tier client experiences.

About the Role
- Partner closely with Risk Advisors and other Towne personnel on all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewal.
- Provides professional, courteous service to our clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and Towne colleagues, resulting in a rate of account retention that meets or exceeds expectations.
- Oversee day-to-day operations related to the Private Client Group book of business.
- Actively manage a book of business for selected Private Client Risk Advisors.
- Collaborate with the Private Client Account Management team, providing strategic support to ensure a high-performing and service-focused team.
- Collaborate with carriers that specialize in high-net-worth markets to secure optimal coverage and pricing.
- Initiate renewal process for existing clients and discuss and create renewal strategy with Risk Advisors.
- Analyze and compare current exposures and develop renewal or new business specifications for marketing.
- Conduct marketing, negotiate rates, and review quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy.
- Independently review policy and determine appropriate coverage; identify possible deficiencies.
- Review and summarize marketing results and prepare proposals.
- Finalize proposals and presentations.
- Bind insurance coverage and prepare binders and/or delegate certificates issuance.
- Review policies for accuracy and review contracts.
- Prepare summaries and/or schedules of coverage for clients.
- Provides claims assistance to members when needed, negotiating equitable claim settlements.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, luxury assets coverage and specialized insurance products.
- Utilizes sales and customer service skills to listen effectively, build rapport, develop needs, provide solutions, and improve client policy retention.
- Assist Risk Advisors and Leadership in developing and maintaining strong, high-value client relationships.
- Identify opportunities for process and systems improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall client experience.
- Effectively utilizes selected third-party systems for customer handling (e.g., carrier sites, Applied Epic).
- Ensures client and policy information is current in the Epic system and all required documentation procedures are completed.
- Maintain active P & C License status and increase insurance knowledge by attending carrier meetings and continuing education classes.
- Obeys all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and experience you'll need:
- Must have an active P & C License.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in personal lines with a minimum of 2 years of Private Client/High Net Worth insurance experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
- Strong knowledge of carriers and products serving the affluent markets.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to client service.
- Tech-savvy with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with carriers such as Chubb, PURE, AIG Private Client or similar.
- Experience with managing coastal properties, multi-state programs, and excess and surplus lines policies.
- Risk management or financial service background a plus.
- Strong consultative and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with agency management systems; preferably Applied Epic.
