Job Opportunity
We are looking for a Customer Service Associate to join our team and provide an exceptional shopping experience for every customer. Your duties will include:
- Assisting customers with questions and recommendations
- Managing sales transactions at the assigned cash register
- Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets
- Keeping the store well-stocked and recovering merchandise
- Receiving merchandise, helping with unloading trucks, and performing stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
- Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
Skills and experience required:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
