About the Job:

The Account Coordinator is responsible for orchestrating the various activities associated with ensuring that a product is ordered, received, picked, packed, and delivered in line with the customer's expectations. As the Account Coordinator, you are responsible for building solid customer relationships through managing all inventory activities to ensure customer loyalty and profitability. This includes tactical day to day activities and development and implementation of strategic activities to increase profitability of existing products while earning the opportunity to handle new products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be the face and voice of the customer(s) to Odyssey Logistics.
  • Serves as first point of contact to help resolve any questions or concerns for assigned customers.
  • Support sales team by assisting with on-boarding and training new customers.
  • Coordinate customer transition and product set-up after the contract is signed.
  • Provide support to Operations team to investigate inventory variances and assist in developing corrective actions.
  • Responsible for coordinating and managing the replenishment orders and reviewing stocking levels for assigned customers.
  • Deliver inventory forecasts and/or reports and effectively communicate information internally and to key customer contacts.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with the customer.
  • Maintain the company's client information database and continuously update client records.
  • Schedule calls and meetings for other team members
  • Prepare client reports for sales and managers.
  • Field questions from clients and pass along clients' feedback to other team members.
  • Maintain strong and positive client relations.
  • Prepare, file, and retrieve sales-related documents, like contracts.
  • Update internal databases with account information.
  • Conduct research on prospective clients.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure proper pre- and post-sales service.
  • Communicate customer feedback to Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams.

Required:

  • High School diploma - Some college/college degree a plus
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • 2-4 years relevant work experience
  • Ability to sit for extended lengths of time.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Location: This is an in-office role based in Vandalia, IL

As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, Odyssey provides a range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets. The base pay range for this position is: $18 to $19 per hour.
