Summary

Responsible for delivering superior customer service to all customers of BottleDrop Redemption Center in a friendly and professional manner while maintaining the appearance of the Redemption Center. Act as the Person-in-Charge if the Supervisor is not on site.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Support the BottleDrop Supervisor and management to ensure a safe and positive work environment.
  2. Cash handling.
  3. Consistently demonstrate following company policies as outlined in handbooks and training materials.
  4. Support BottleDrop Supervisor as the Person-in-Charge when Supervisor is off site.
  5. Complete Injury Reporting Protocols as needed.
  6. Assist in training and oversight of BottleDrop Team Members.
  7. Operate, troubleshoot and maintain all Front of House equipment.
  8. Escalate equipment repair and/or IT issues when necessary.
  9. Perform the functions of a Retail Lead as needed.
  10. Perform the functions of a BottleDrop Team Member as needed.
  11. Track and report daily activities of Redemption Center by using proper forms and procedures.
  12. Adhere to OSHA Safety Standards and OBRC policies.
  13. Adhere to proper PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, hand protection) usage in designated areas of RC.
  14. Other job duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or GED education required.
  • 1+ years' supervisory experience, preferably in the retail industry with cash handling required.

Requirements – Skills, Job Knowledge & Abilities

  • Be familiar with OBRC Employee Handbook and BottleDrop Policy and Procedures.
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with team, management, customers and internal departments of OBRC.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate professionally at all levels with internal and external business partners.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to operate manual/electric pallet jacks after training/certification.
  • Ability to operate powered floor scrubber after training/certification.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

  • Work outdoors in various temperatures/conditions.
  • Exposure to industrial equipment with moving mechanical parts.
  • Occasional exposure to odors of empty beverage containers.
  • Noise levels in designated areas of the redemption center require the use of approved hearing protection.
  • Must be able to frequently lift/carry up to 30lbs.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Push/pull 50+ lbs. frequently (wheeled bag racks).
  • Talking and hearing is frequently required.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to stand and walk.
  • Must be able to bend/stoop/crouch/squat.
  • Must be able to use arms/wrists/hands/grasp.
  • Must be able to occasionally climb and balance.
