Under the direction of the Manager, Support Services, the successful candidate will collaborate with various business units within the Recreation and Culture Department to gather, analyze and interpret key business objectives and support a variety of initiatives. This position leads the department's strategy for Business Intelligence optimization, supporting and promoting continuous improvement opportunities. A priority for this position will also be supporting the operations, configuration, and training of Xplor Recreation software.

Qualifications
You bring expertise in business process design and optimization, with a strong focus on formal documentation and attention to detail. You have experience in training staff and supporting organizational learning initiatives. You will have graduated from a recognized university or college with a degree/diploma in Business, Information Management or Business Analysis, or equivalent and bring at least 3 years of progressive business analysis experience, with preference in the Recreation and Culture sector. You strive for innovation and excellence and are capable of acting as a change agent. You have demonstrated experience in conducting work process designs and conducting business process reviews, advising on and supporting the implementation of new technologies. You are strategic in your approach to addressing complex issues and demonstrate accountability by ensuring the impact of strategies and programs is measured and shared widely. You encourage cross departmental thinking and collaboration, interpret individual and department concerns, anticipate issues and opportunities, take ownership, use initiative and remain solution focused.
