Customer Service Representative

TEKsystems is hiring several Customer Service Representatives to assist a client located in Bethpage, NY. This position would offer a full-time ON-SITE schedule and would start as soon as possible! This client is rapidly expanding and is seeking top talent to help continue with the expansion. Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• High volume customer service experience working through an Excel spreadsheet
• Must have Vlook up and pivot table experience through Excel
• Autonomy in the critical revision of product technical specifications
• Target monitoring through BI tools
• Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite, especially Excel
• Expertise in the use of SAP and Salesforce
• Market knowledge

Job Description:

• Prepare the offer to the customer based upon the best supply source, which is determined by the Procurement department on the basis of certifications, price per unit and lead time.
• Perform RFQ's follow up activities that are necessary to ensure and maintain relations with customers, such as dealing with emails, making calls, videoconferences, and visits.
• Build a sustainable relationship with the customer, providing all the necessary information about both the product and the orders/contracts, explaining complex technical information to customers.
• Proactively handle customers' complaints and ensure resolution by communicating with the Manager and other departments' staff (Quality& Compliance, Finance, Operations, etc.)

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay: $23.00-$27.00/hr. (based off experience)

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
