Client Success Manager

As a Client Success Manager, you will oversee customer success and retention for our advertising clients by providing best-in-class, daily account management. You will act in an internal and client-facing role, reporting directly to the Executive Director of Business Operations and Enablement. Responsibilities include: supporting an important set of accounts through the full life-cycle of the business, leading client contact and coordination with top-tier clients to ensure best-in-class, high-touch service, developing relationships with advertising agencies and clients, managing and facilitating a smooth sales process from pre-sale through post-sale, assisting the Sales Director with renewals, ensuring the timely creation and delivery of our best work to clients, working with Sales and Business Operations teams on the assigned client accounts, leading workflow of pre- and post-digital and print ad campaigns, managing client communications, leading non-pitch meetings, monitoring the business of the account, assisting sales with pipeline accuracy, overseeing pre-launch campaign execution, participating in strategic and creative brainstorming sessions, improving workflows and best practices, working with the Head of Industry and respective sales leads for the assigned set of clients, and demonstrating support and understanding of our value of journalistic independence.

Basic qualifications include 1+ years of experience in digital/print advertising/media experience in advertising sales coordination roles, experience managing relationships with a range of customers around personal account management and category support while under deadline constraints, and a long-term commitment to learning and category of business. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree, digital media experience, and experience in digital product organizations.

The hourly rate of base pay for this role is $44.48 — $46.71 USD.
