Novartis Account Manager
LI-Hybrid Location: Seville, Spain. Novartis is unable to offer relocation support: please only apply if accessible.
In this role, you will lead the management of key accounts in Seville and cover the Western Andalusia region, bringing innovative therapeutic solutions to more patients. You will design strategies by account, activate connections in the healthcare ecosystem, and turn analysis into actions that drive sustainable results—all in collaboration with medical, marketing, and access teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and promotion in assigned accounts to meet agreed commercial objectives.
- Design and execute client development plans and key account management.
- Lead a value-added proposal (therapeutic + healthcare innovation), converging the strategic interests of the accounts and the clinical/healthcare benefit potential of NVS in each of its therapeutic areas.
- Develop an active influence role in the ecosystem through the identification of key stakeholders in each of its accounts and possible interconnections in healthcare services, working in an anticipated way on launches.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts; coordinate specific initiatives for priority accounts.
- Analyze market and competition in key accounts; convert insights into actions.
- Develop activities and programs with marketing and medical, aligned with the tactical plan.
- Maintain accurate and timely data in Novartis's customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing key accounts in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with clinical and administrative decision-makers.
- Mastery of strategic account planning and the execution of measurable tactical plans.
- Knowledge of the Spanish healthcare ecosystem and public access and contracting processes.
- Ability to analyze market and competition data and translate them into commercial actions.
- Fluency in Spanish and professional level of English; permission to work in Spain.
Desirable Requirements:
- Previous experience in Andalusia managing hospitals and healthcare services in the region.
- Knowledge of pharmacovigilance and adverse event reporting procedures.
