Project Coordinator

GovCIO is currently hiring for Project Coordinator to coordinate multiple technical teams in a highly dynamic environment. This position will be fully remote with infrequent intermittent travel needed no more than quarterly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Knowledgeable of financial and project management functions.
  • Develops budgets and work schedules according to project requirements.
  • Responsible for cost estimation and control.
  • Monitors project progress and makes adjustments as needed.
  • Coordinates interdepartmental participation to meet project requirements.
  • Maintains lines of communication among project team members.
  • May be responsible for risk management.
  • Must be available to address the needs of the project effort.
  • May have acquired CAPM(PMI).
  • Reports project progress to management.
  • Responsible for addressing employee and work-related issues relevant to the project effort.
  • Arranges logistics for meetings, conferences, training, and other project-related events.
  • Organizes project committee meetings and prepares the necessary materials, including reports, presentations, agendas and other meeting collateral.
  • Transcribes and records key decisions and action items resulting from meetings.
  • Must be capable of performing various financial analytics including forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to the project.

Qualifications:

  • High School with 3 - 6 years (or commensurate experience) Required Skills and Experience:
  • Clearance Required: must be able to obtain Top Secret
  • Experience supporting projects; organizing meetings, maintaining records
  • Experience creating reports, presentations and agendas
  • Strong organizational and communications skills
