Gsm-R Radio Engineer
As a GSM-R Radio Engineer in Zürich and Belp, you'll be part of a dynamic team focused on enhancing railway communication, particularly for SBB in Switzerland. Embrace a hybrid work model, splitting your time between the office in Zürich, our test lab in Belp, and on-site installations. You'll engage in hands-on activities like installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting (incl. SW upgrades; logfile and protocol analyses), all while collaborating closely with experienced radio engineers and subcontractors.
The role entails participating in emergency standby services, approximately every six weeks, ensuring the safety and reliability of railway networks. You'll conduct end-to-end testing, software updates, and interact with customers, which brings meaningful challenges and rewards.
