What you will do:
- Development of new sustainable businesses and consequently, generation of new GDP and increase of market share, development of prototypes, administration of the portfolio of the pipeline of opportunities related to product lines and suppliers.
- Making visits to prospects and clients, identifying the key specialties that offer the best solution to the expressed needs or challenges, offering technical support in the field (including pilot tests and Solution center) in the development of projects introducing new suppliers (aligned with the LATAM BDM plan and global leadership), and leading the process of prospecting new suppliers until the first sale.
- Providing technical support of high degree of difficulty (profile and positioning of the supplier, tangible and intangible benefits, use, conditions, dosage, application, etc.) to the clients or focus prospects of the designated specialty or supplier.
- Clearly and timely transferring new businesses to the sales team for maintenance and further development.
- Managing and executing projects by yourself or together with the technical team of the Foodology solution center and global teams, to give a view of the main needs of applications and developments given the market trends and local, regional consumer trends.
- Executing regular training to the Foodology team and clients to ensure adequate transitions after the 1st sale of new specialties.
What you will need:
- Food engineering, food chemistry or related.
- Intermediate or fluent in English.
- Minimum 3 years commercial experience in development or formulation of new products, technical support and pipeline management.
- Knowledge of market, regulations and legislation of the food and beverage industry, as well as formulation with specialties and ingredients in general.
- Required skills: Organization, structure and time management, Decision making, Proactivity, Emotional and social intelligence (EI, SI), Conflict resolution, Strategy, service attitude and collaboration.
- Availability to travel.
- Driver's license.
Where you will work: Candidates residing in Monterrey, Mexico will be considered. Territory to cover: From Chihuahua to the Gulf of Mexico.
