As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for receiving and responding to requests for quotes; negotiating pricing, terms, lead times and effectively managing and resolving issues.
In this role, you will also seek and identify opportunities for domestic and global growth, and interface with all related support functions to develop and strengthen relations with new and existing customers and strategic channel partners. A key focus is the development of strategic partners with preferred DLA small business program status and international reseller partners.
The role is expected to provide a mix of strategic and tactical solutions in a business-to-business selling environment. The role focuses on acquiring, penetrating, managing, and retaining customers in a global marketplace. Being sales and performance driven with dedication to achieving team goals will be critical to the success of our overall business. Knowledge of Military procurement processes, familiarity with NSN's, DIBBS, ASSIST, and FedbizOps.com systems and DOD Set Aside business contracting programs is preferred but not required. Training on all applications will be provided.
This is a home-based position in The Woodlands, TX.
