Account Manager aims to meet or exceed the Annual Operational Plan (AOP) for sales according to the specified indicator by the organization (e.g., DGP), always in a proactive, timely, and responsible manner.

Functions:

  • Manage the assigned region or portfolio by generating sustainable growth and maintaining the existing business, following the business unit strategy and using the available control and reporting systems
  • Manage and constantly increase the pipeline of opportunities related to product lines and suppliers designated by the business unit strategy to generate consistent growth
  • Ensure the non-generation of slow-moving or dead stock.
  • Provide technical support of 1st degree of difficulty (supplier profile and positioning, tangible and intangible benefits, use, conditions, dosage, application, etc.) to the assigned region or portfolio of clients on key specialties, general commodities.
  • Participate in and execute the mutual action plan of specific suppliers and occasional interaction with key suppliers of the business unit.
  • Commercial follow-up tasks, cold calls, prospecting, follow-up of assigned leads, increase of SKUs per customer, ensuring compliance with performance indicators "KPI's", creation and follow-up of purchase forecasts per customer.
  • Generate new business opportunities by making face-to-face visits to prospect potential customers, as well as existing customers, identifying the needs and/or problems they face in order to make an adequate diagnosis of the solution or specialty that offers the best response, offering technical advice of 1st degree of difficulty
  • Retain, maintain and grow existing customers through price and margin management, retention strategies and tactics, penetration increase (more SKUs) always with a focus on managing the NPS (Net Promoter Score) indicator to make it difficult to lose the relationship at 100%.
  • Manage projects together with the technical team to offer prototypes or solutions to specific needs with agility and focus on managing opportunities or prospecting activities
  • Administrative activities related to the role and function, expense accounts, travel organization, region reports, area of responsibility, etc.

  • Ensure on-time delivery of the product through follow-up and collaboration with the operations team
  • Generate customer shopping experiences
  • Meet the assigned AOP
