Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing outstanding service by accurately processing and managing sales orders using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. This role acts as a key point of contact between the company, our broker network, and the internal sales team to promptly address and resolve any customer-related issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter and manage customer orders in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central with a high level of accuracy
  • Monitor open orders to ensure timely processing, fulfillment, shipping, and invoicing
  • Respond to inquiries from customers, brokers, and sales staff regarding product availability, order status, pricing, and delivery timelines
  • Collaborate with brokers and sales representatives to resolve order discrepancies, product issues, and customer concerns
  • Coordinate with internal departments (including operations, shipping, and accounting) to ensure seamless customer service and satisfaction
  • Proactively identify and escalate issues that may affect customer experience or order fulfillment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and communication notes within Business Central
  • Participate in special and initiatives aimed at improving customer service processes

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or other ERP systems is strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, brokers, and sales staff
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
