Account Manager

The Account Manager supports Account Executives with business retention by providing services in support of client satisfaction, profitable growth and other business objectives. They will also be responsible for creating positive customer relationships, focusing on revenue growth, member retention, and achievement of financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
  • Engages with customers frequently via email, phone and video conferencing, leads calls and virtual meetings.
  • Implements proactive account management and customer support, addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth and positive client experience.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client projects, products, and services, meeting client expectations and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Identifies and assesses risks within client accounts, developing mitigation strategies and action plans to proactively address challenges and ensure long-term success.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of customer service experience in the health insurance industry, preferably with complex accounts.
  • Active resident insurance producer license as required by state law or willing to obtain insurance producer license within 60 days of start date.
  • Must be willing to work Eastern Standard Time hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Japanese fluency preferred
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (HS Diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40

Time Type: Full time

Pay Range: The typical pay range for this role is: $43,888.00 - $102,081.00
