Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Director, Technical Specialist in New York, New York to analyze large and complex datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights that inform business decisions and audit strategies. Partner with auditors, analytics leads, and business stakeholders to define objectives, gather requirements, and deliver impactful solutions. Design and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations that present data in a clear, meaningful way for diverse audiences. Develop and refine processes for data integration, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting. Interpret technical concepts and translate them into business-friendly language to support decision-making. Provide training and guidance on analytics methodologies, enabling auditors and team members to leverage data effectively. Validate data accuracy and control effectiveness to support audit ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Lead initiatives to streamline workflows through automation and implement AI-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve data quality. Promote knowledge sharing and establish best practices for analytics development and usage across the team. Maintain comprehensive documentation and enforce rigorous quality control measures for all deliverables to ensure transparency, sustainability, and operational excellence.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Requires a Bachelor's in Information Technology, Technology Management, or a related field
- Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Manager, Analyst, Consultant, or a related role

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $173,500 and $203,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
