Personal Property & Casualty Account Executive

Bozeman, MT: A trusted Montana-based financial institution with an insurance division is hiring a Personal Property & Casualty Account Executive. Services range from personal coverage such as home, auto, health, and life insurance to specialized business and farm policies that safeguard property, equipment, livestock, and employees. With a focus on local knowledge, personalized service, and long-term relationships, this team is dedicated to helping clients protect what matters most while planning confidently for the future.

This position delivers exceptional client service while supporting growth within the personal lines insurance division. You'll focus on building strong client relationships, managing policy needs with accuracy, and working closely with producers and underwriters to provide tailored insurance solutions. While prior experience and a Montana Property & Casualty license are preferred, this is also a great entry point into the industry if you're motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow, the team is willing to provide training and support for the right candidate.

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Build and maintain strong, profitable relationships with both new and existing customers
  • Consistently apply strategies for upselling, cross-selling, and enhancing services to maximize client value
  • Act as a reliable primary contact for clients, fostering trust through timely communication and professional support
  • Manage policy updates including renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and adjustments with precision
  • Collaborate with producers and underwriters to develop proposals, negotiate coverage terms, and finalize policies
  • Keep accurate and current client information within the agency management system

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in property & casualty personal lines preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of personal lines insurance products and markets
  • Active Montana Property & Casualty license preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational habits
  • Ability to travel - approximately 25% travel required
