Mastercard is on the journey to establish an enterprise, scalable Order Management system that can support new business models and customer engagement channels. This role is within Financial Solutions program to partner with other programs to implement SAP Order Management as an enterprise O&M system. This leader will own end to end technical delivery—from solution design and build through cutover, hypercare, and steady state operations—while ensuring reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of the platform. The ideal candidate blends strong SAP functional expertise with people leadership, vendor management, and modern service management (Agile/ITIL/DevOps) practices.
As Manager, Software Engineering, you will be responsible for the following:
• Deep understanding of managing and fulfillment of Order, pricing, integration of Orders with third-party billing applications, importing data from customer facing application.
• Proven track record leading end to end SAP implementations (fit to standard, extensions, integrations, data migration, testing, cutover, hypercare) and steady state support.
• Minimum 7 years of SAP technical and functional experience/expertise in Order to Cash: pricing, order management, condition contracts, EDI and billing.
• Experience in global rollouts (multi company, multi currency, tax jurisdictions), and data migration (CVI/business partners, customers/materials, open orders).
• Experience with SAP BTP (extensions, eventing), Integration Suite/APIs, and integrations with CRM/Commerce, Tax (e.g., Vertex/Avalara), Payments, Logistics/3PL, and Finance.
• Proven experience as a software engineer and technical lead, with a strong focus on delivering large-scale software projects in an agile environment.
• Hands-on with Agile/Scrum and ITIL (incident, problem, change, release).
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills required – with the ability to effectively communicate & develop strong relationships within a multinational organization.
• Ability to quickly engage and influence business partners – driving change in the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Certifications: SAP (S/4HANA Sales), ITIL, SAFe/Agile—preferred.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
