Part-Time Customer Service Representative - Bagley Store Location

Garden Valley Technologies, a leading technology provider, is seeking a motivated individual to fill a part-time, fully benefited Retail Customer Service Representative reporting to our Bagley Store. This position will generally be scheduled 10:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, depending on store coverage and the Company's requirements. This position may periodically work 8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am to 5:00pm shifts, or fill in at our other retail store locations, depending on store coverage requirements. Hourly compensation: $24.75. The ideal candidate will have an attitude for success, the ability and desire to continuously learn, and a love of technology. Essential Job Functions:

  1. Deliver an excellent customer service experience to every customer, at the retail store or over the phone, at all times. Answer questions or concerns and educate customers on all GVT products and services. Promote, sell, and upsell Garden Valley services to new and existing customers, including sales and service of GV cellular, and with an emphasis on security products and video services. Assist customers with new service requests, service changes, billing questions and concerns, and handle all equipment returns. Perform troubleshooting steps for applicable products and services, use trouble ticket functions, and dispatch issues to appropriate personnel when necessary. Process payments, post payments to the appropriate accounts, and issue receipts
  2. Accurately complete applicable paperwork and computer functions relating to service requests, changes, billing inquiries, and troubles
  3. Prioritize and perform courtesy calls to subscribers, other work assignments, and special projects
  4. Maintain a cash drawer, make daily deposits, and run various related reports
  5. Assist with store inventory stocking and display, order tracking, and other related tasks, as assigned
  6. Use a multi-line telephone system, computer, and other technology necessary in performing all job functions
  7. Work at a minimum of one Company-sponsored event each year (customer appreciation days, special events, and fairs)
