Sow Unit Technician Position
Sietsema Farms is looking for Sow Unit Technicians for their farrowing swine production divisions, High Lean Pork and Huron Pork. Competitive wages at $15.00 base plus $4000-$5000 annually in attendance and performance bonuses. Responsibilities:
- Daily animal care and feeding
- Monitoring the barn environment
- Following Standard Operating Procedures in a swine breeding and farrowing operation
Requirements:
- Have excellent animal husbandry skills
- Available to work every other weekend
- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
This job will provide 40-50 hours of work a week. Normal working hours are 7:00am-3:00pm during the weekdays. Also, will need to work every other weekend 4-5 hours per day.
