Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator will be a key member in our operations team by supporting our Lead Technicians and Project Managers with project administrative duties. This position does not require industry experience but does require a strong work ethic and organizational skills.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Assisting Leads and Project Managers with day-to-day project administrative functions.
  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, schedules, timecards, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Providing administrative support as needed.
  • Developing project strategies with the Lead Technician, Superintendent, and Project Manager.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to requirements and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Assessing project risks and issues and providing solutions where applicable.
  • Chairing and facilitating meetings where appropriate and distributing minutes to all project team members.
  • Coordinating, managing, and making travel arrangements for technicians traveling to the project.
  • Creating teams, developing the objectives/goals of each, and assigning individual responsibilities.
  • Performing project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking team expenses, and minimizing exposure and risk to the project.
  • Ordering, tracking, sorting, inventorying, and receiving materials.
  • Tracking labor production to ensure milestones are met.
  • Collaborating with the entire organization.
  • Being the primary liaison between Project Manager and Lead Technicians.
  • Submitting access requests for employees and testers.
  • Managing all test results and maintaining them in the project's as-built folder.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience.
  • 2 years of experience on construction projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Good understanding of building networks.
  • Ability to plan and organize a team effort.
  • Good client management and building goodwill.
  • Capacity to motivate, lead, and boost morale of teams.
  • Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
  • Strong focus on quality and safety.
