Technical Specialist - Assistant Coach

Under the direction of the Artistic Swimming - Head Coach, the Technical Specialist - Assistant Coach will be expected to assist the head coach in the implementation of performance and development initiatives that will help ensure the success of the Artistic student-athletes. Expected to assist head coach with other related functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and distribute on-field team equipment.
  • Prepare practice and training equipment ahead of start times
  • Record activities and keep track of statistics during competitions and performances.
  • Recruitment of prospective student-athlete Artistic players
  • Adhere to the administrative rules, regulations and policies of the university and the league (CUASL) regulations
  • Activate fundraising initiatives that will support the Artistic Swimming operational needs.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, evaluation and planning skills
  • Strong desire and dedication to the development of the student athletes
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Working hours will depend on the time and resources needed during different parts of the season
  • May require CPR and First Aid certifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

High School Diploma

2 Years Related Experience

Hourly Salary: $16.66 (AMUSE C)

Estimated Number of Work Hours per Week: 10 (Part time)

Position Start Date: 2025-09-01

Position End Date: 2026-04-30

Deadline to Apply: 2025-08-31
