The Digital Workplace Director is responsible for defining and implementing the strategy to provide a pleasant, secure, and resilient technological experience to employees across the company. This person is responsible for the infrastructure platforms, services, providers, and teams that support collaboration, endpoint management, mobility, and user experience tracking, ensuring that technology is aligned with business needs and enhances the employee experience.

This role is essential for modernizing the digital workplace ecosystem, optimizing service delivery through automation, and fostering the adoption of innovative tools tailored to hybrid and international work environments.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and evolve the digital workplace strategy by aligning it with business objectives and employee needs.
• Lead the delivery of core digital workplace services, including:
• Endpoint management (Windows, macOS, mobile)
• Update processes for device security compliance
• Collaboration platforms
• Lifecycle management of devices and VDI
• Tracking of digital experience
• Self-service IT portals, automation, and mobile applications
• Piloting the transition to modern endpoint management (e.g. Autopilot, Intune, MDM)
• Leading hands-free provisioning, unified endpoint strategy, and automation of recurring support tasks
• Building and managing a high-performing internal team and/or service providers responsible for the delivery and support of digital workplace technologies
• Overseeing external vendors and partners to ensure SLA compliance and strategic alignment
• Collaborating with change management to integrate identified transformation capabilities

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT and the relevant industry, including service delivery, design and deployment, lifecycle management of systems, planning, and infrastructure operations
• Significant experience in managing managed service providers
• Proven international leadership experience in managing projects or cross-functional teams, with the ability to influence executives and stakeholders in multicultural environments
• Demonstrated experience in successfully leading organizational transformations
• Excellent collaboration skills: ability to build strong partnerships with IT, HR, facilities, security, and business teams for user-centric outcomes
• Strong communication skills: ability to clearly communicate at all levels, translate technical concepts into business terms, actively listen, share a vision, and provide quality executive updates
