About the Team

We are a team of Product Designers and Researchers dedicated to helping product and development teams create and deliver user-centered solutions and experiences for Decision Management Program (DMP) customers. Our team offers User Experience Design, Research, and Interface Design as core capabilities within DMP, partnering closely with product teams to ensure every solution is intuitive, effective, and grounded in user needs.

Internship Program

Mastercard's summer internship program provides emerging talent with projects that will enhance skills as well as contribute to the department's goals and objectives. In this program, you will participate in:

• Networking events, mentorship opportunities, and hear from senior leaders
• Volunteer and team building opportunities
• Formal performance assessments
• End-of-summer presentations to peers and Mastercard leadership

Qualifications

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with a graduation date of Winter 2026 – Spring 2027

- Hands-on experience working with Figma

- Foundational knowledge of UX principles and design thinking

- Previous internship or strong class projects focused in UX/UI

- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

- Strong communicator

- Previous presentation skills both on a team and as an individual

- Portfolio of UX/UI design work (linked on resume) showcasing a variety of different abilities / examples

- Interest / experience working with AI tools

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Salary: $23-28 / hr
