To thrive as an IT Field Support Associate, you bring deep technical fundamentals, a hands-on mentality, and the ability to fix and resolve issues in fast-paced, operational environments. This role supports day-to-day IT operations across multiple facilities by following established procedures, resolving technical issues, and escalating complex problems when needed. This position is dedicated to execution and support, ensuring systems remain operational, users receive timely assistance, and technology standards are consistently applied across locations. High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework, military experience, or equivalent training preferred.
Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on IT support, including user assistance and hardware troubleshooting, in a professional environment.
Provide first-level, hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues in accordance with established IT procedures.
Install, configure, and deploy approved hardware, software, peripherals, and network cabling under defined standards and guidance.
Support and maintain wireless equipment at local and remote sites to ensure system availability and uptime.
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues onsite and remotely, escalating unresolved or complex issues to senior IT staff as appropriate.
Maintain accurate inventory records, wiring diagrams, and documentation; process requests for equipment and software purchases in alignment with established approval processes.
Travel to remote facilities to provide onsite support, assist with deployments, and support approved IT projects if needed.
Comply with OSHA safety standards when operating mobile equipment and working in production or warehouse environments.
Provide user training, basic documentation, and clear instructions to support effective and safe technology use.
Work closely with senior IT staff and multi-functional teams to support operational needs.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, overtime, or extended hours, based on production schedules or support needs.
