Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Auto Body Shop
At Chevy Chase Acura, we take pride in delivering high-quality collision repair and exceptional customer care. Our team is committed to making the repair process as stress-free as possible for our customers. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented customer service representative (CSR) to join our front office team and be the first point of contact for our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in person and over the phone with professionalism and courtesy.
- Schedule repair appointments and manage the repair calendar.
- Generate work order with proper documentation.
- Communicate with insurance companies, adjusters, and vendors to ensure proper documentation.
- Provide estimates and explain repair processes to customers in clear, simple terms.
- Update customers throughout the repair process regarding status and timelines.
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and payment processing.
- Support the shop manager and technicians with customer communication and workflow coordination.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service; auto body or automotive experience a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with shop management software.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
