Shipping & Receiving Clerk (Mexican Customs Experience Required)

Our client, a leading company in the logistics and customs industry, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting cross-border logistics and customs dispatch. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience working with Mexican customs documentation.

Job Title:

Shipping & Receiving Clerk (Mexican Customs Experience) Location: Laredo, TX El gato road

Schedule:

1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (Evening Shift) Must be flexible to cover weekends when needed.

Pay Range:

$ 14

What's the Job?

1. Receive, review, and organize documentation required for importation into Mexico (invoices, packing lists, pedimentos, COVEs, DODAs, manifests, etc.).
2. Validate that all information meets Mexican customs authority requirements and the customs broker's specifications.
3. Maintain digital and physical control of files per internal policies and audit requirements.
4. Coordinate and schedule unit crossings into Mexico; provide clear instructions to drivers on crossing points, schedules, and documentation.
5. Monitor unit crossings, document incidents (delays, inspections, rejections), and verify unit compliance (seals, safety requirements).

What's Needed?

1. Experience in Mexican customs processes and cross-border logistics.
2. Knowledge of pedimentos, COVE, DODA, manifests, invoices, and packing lists.
3. Strong organizational and communication skills.
4. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced logistics environment.
5. Availability for evening shift and weekend coverage.
