Customer Service Representative

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Duration: Full-Time, 4-Month Assignment Language Requirement: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative provides outreach and enrollment support to beneficiaries, both in group settings and one-on-one. This role focuses on educating individuals about managed care options, assisting with enrollment processes, and delivering excellent customer service in both office and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face outreach and provide enrollment broker services through group and individual presentations
  • Educate beneficiaries on Managed Care options and assist with navigating their healthcare plans
  • Support beneficiaries with enrollment and disenrollment processes
  • Perform accurate data entry related to enrollment and disenrollment activities
  • Transmit enrollment/disenrollment information to the central processing facility
  • Respond to and assist with medical exemption and waiver inquiries
  • Provide status updates to beneficiaries regarding enrollments, exemptions, and waivers
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Collaborate with team members on daily operations and assist other Enrollment Service Representatives as needed
  • Review knowledge base materials for accuracy and recommend improvements
  • Meet or exceed Field Operations performance standards
  • Report procedural issues or compliance concerns to management in a timely manner
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve workflow efficiency and service quality
  • Travel to and work from assigned office locations as directed by management
  • Represent the program at community events, outreach activities, and health fairs as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Strong computer skills and data entry accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
